Welcome to the Giddy Yarns 2024 Advent Calendar.

This year's Advent Calendar is inspired by The Hogfather by Terry Pratchett

The mood board gives you an idea of the colour theme for the advent. This year won't be a fade, but all the colours will be dyed based from the one mood board, so colours will work together in one projects. Colours will be a mix of speckled and variegated and maybe even so tonals. 

This year you can read along with the advent calendar, I will provide "chapter" information so you can read along each day with your calendar. Terry Pratchett famously doesn't do chapters, so it will be a little more complicated than normal but we'll make it work!

This year the advent will include 24 mini skeins each individually wrapped and labeled so you can keep the mystery alive throughout December all packed in a custom-printed natural cotton bag. There will also be a couple of little themed extras included. 

I am offering the following bases (choose from the Yarn Base - Mini Skeins drop-down box):

• 10g 4ply (75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon)
• 10g Sparkle 4ply (75% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stellina) 
• 10g DK (75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon)
• 20g 4ply (75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon) 
• 20g Sparkle 4ply (75% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stellina)
• 20g DK (75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon) 

You can also choose to add on a 100g skein or 120g sock set for day 25 (choose from the Yarn Base - Day 25 drop-down box): 

• Minis only (no extra skein or sock set) 
• 100g Merino/Nylon (4ply - 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon)
• 120g Merino/Nylon Sock Set (4ply - 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon - 100g+20g) 
• 100g Stellina (4ply - 75% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stellina) 
• 120g Stellina Sock Set (4ply - 75% SW Merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stellina - 100g+20g) 
• 100g Merino/Nylon DK (DK - 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon)

All advents will ship mid-late October using tracked postage due to the value. Shipping will be calculated at checkout. 

There is no pattern included but I will be providing suggestions via a blog post on my website and Instagram for both knitting and crochet pattern recommendations nearer December. 

PAYMENT PLAN INFO

The payment plan will be in four equal installments: 

• INITIAL PAYMENT: 25% + shipping (this is a non-refundable deposit) - 
• JUNE INVOICE: 25% 
• JULY INVOICE: 25% 
• AUGUST INVOICE: 25%

PLEASE NOTE if you add a 100g or 120g day 25 skein then the cost of that will be split across the payment plan. 

10g Minis only Advents - 25% = £27.5

20g Minis only Advents - 25% = £40

This listing is the initial payment plus you will be charged shipping at checkout. This initial payment is a non-refundable deposit to cover the yarn costs etc. 

You will then receive an invoice via email inviting you to pay the 2nd invoice in June, the 3rd invoice in July, and the 4th invoice in August, all payments will be made through my website - Please ensure your email address is input correctly! 

If invoices are not paid IN FULL by the end of September then your order will be cancelled and the initial payment retained. I hope this is clear, please get in touch if you have any questions.
